Part-Time Payroll Assistant job in Lanarkshire

Your new company

Based in South Lanarkshire, our client is recruiting for a Part-Time Payroll Assistant to join their team on a month-to-month temporary basis. The hours of work are Monday–Friday, 9.30am - 2.30pm. The role is office-based and the organisation is accessible by local public transport and there is also on-site parking.

Your new role

Reporting to the Payroll & Accounts Manager, the Payroll Assistant will undertake a range of responsibilities. Your duties will include, but will not be limited to; processing payroll, handling queries, processing invoices, inbox management and general associated duties. The IT systems used are Sage and Xero.

What you'll need to succeed

Payroll processing experience is essential and, ideally, you will have experience of Sage and Xero. You will be a team player who can work well to their own initiative. You will have professional and personable communication skills as you will liaise with colleagues, clients and suppliers on a daily basis.
