Your new company
An established and highly respected organisation that is based across Europe is looking to recruit a Payroll Administrator to join its busy payroll team in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your payroll career within a stable business that offers training, development, and long-term progression.
Your new role
As a Payroll Administrator, you will support the Payroll Supervisor and Senior Payroll team with the end-to-end monthly payroll process. Your responsibilities will include processing starters, leavers and contractual changes, administering statutory payments, maintaining employee records, responding to payroll queries, and supporting payroll projects. You will also assist with payroll reporting, employment references, HRIS testing, and a range of administrative duties to ensure payroll operations run smoothly and efficiently.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have previous payroll administration experience and a good understanding of UK payroll legislation, including RTI and statutory payments. You will possess excellent attention to detail, strong numerical skills, and confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team are essential. Experience with iTrent payroll software, Business Objects, or a CIPP qualification would be advantageous.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a salary of £30,000–£32,000, 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, and a hybrid working arrangement with one day per week working from home. The company also offers payroll training, a £7 daily food allowance at the on-site canteen, and access to a comprehensive employee benefits package.
