Part-time Year 4 Teacher position in Willenhall, Starting from January

Hays Education is working with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Wolverhampton to recruit an experienced Year 4 teacher for a part-time role. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a school that values creativity, high standards, and a strong sense of community.

The Role:

  • Teach a Year 4 class on Mondays and Tuesdays, delivering engaging and challenging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
  • Planning is already in place – you’ll just need to adapt it to your teaching style and complete marking.
  • If additional planning is required, PPA time will be provided.
  • Use technology confidently to support teaching and learning.
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure continuity and progress for pupils.

What you'll need to succeed :

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience teaching KS2, ideally Year 4.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire pupils.
  • Good ICT skills and confidence using technology in the classroom.
  • A commitment to raising standards and delivering high-quality education.
