A small village school is seeking a part-time EY/KS1 Teacher for Thursdays and Fridays after Christmas.
Part-Time Primary Teacher (Reception / Year 1) – January to July
Location: North Yorkshire area – close to Ripon
Hays Education is working exclusively with a welcoming and well-established primary school in the Ripon area to recruit an enthusiastic and skilled Part-Time Primary Teacher. This role is to cover Thursdays and Fridays from January through to July, teaching a mixed Reception and Year 1 class with an additional half day of paid planning time at home.
About the Role
The successful candidate will take responsibility for a delightful mixed EYFS/KS1 class, delivering engaging, inclusive and developmentally appropriate learning experiences. The school prides itself on providing a nurturing environment where every child is encouraged to thrive.
This position includes:
- A paid half-day for planning, completed from home

- Pay to scale, dependent on experience

The ideal candidate will be:
- An experienced and confident teacher, ideally with strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Skilled in meeting the varying needs of Reception and Year 1 learners within a mixed-age setting.
- Passionate about creating a warm, stimulating and structured learning environment.
