Part-Time SEN Teaching Assistant – Discovery Pathway – Coventry

Location: Tile Hill, Coventry
Contract: Part-time, Temp to Perm after just 12 weeks!
Hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm

Working Pattern (part‑time options):
  • Wednesday to Friday
  • Monday, Tuesday & Friday
  • Monday, Wednesday & Friday

Your new role

As a Discovery SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
  • Support learners with complex needs in small groups and 1:1 sessions.
  • Assist with personal care and daily routines, ensuring dignity and respect.
  • Encourage learners to develop social interaction, communication, and life skills.
  • Work alongside teaching staff to deliver structured, engaging activities.
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEN (school, care, or youth work backgrounds considered).
  • Patience, empathy, and resilience.
