An established organisation located on the Suffolk / Norfolk border, my client is seeking an experienced payroll professional to join them in the standalone role of Payroll Manager.

Your new role

Working as part of a wider accounts department in a professional, friendly and supportive team environment, you will be responsible for running the payroll for this local SME.

- Weekly payroll for circa 50 employees
- Monthly payroll for circa 30 employees
- Processing and uploading Time & Attendance data
- Monthly PAYE/NI declarations
- Processing monthly payslips
- Maintaining holiday and sickness records
- End of tax year processing
- P60S
- Responding to employee payroll queries
- Maintaining up-to-date payroll legislation knowledge

What you'll need to succeed

You will have a proven track record in a similar role with up-to-date payroll legislation knowledge. Sage Payroll knowledge would be highly beneficial alongside a practical and proactive approach to process improvement.

What you'll get in return

This role is being offered on a part-time permanent basis of 3 days a week with flexibility over hours and work patterns. Due to the nature of the payrolls and deadlines, Monday and Tuesdays would be a requirement.

Starting salary circa £34000 - £35000 plus
