Your new role
As a Part-Time Legal Cashier, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Accounts Manager and Finance Department. You will be on-site 5 days per week, with flexible part-time working hours, so you can work from 10AM–3PM, for example.

- Processing financial transactions accurately and efficiently
- Assisting with compliance of Solicitor's Accounts Rules
- Handling daily banking functions, including bank reconciliations
- Processing client and office accounting transactions
- Preparing and posting client bills
- Managing nominal cheque requests
- Processing payment runs through BACS or TT and cheque
- Handling bank transfers
- Assisting in month-end procedures
- Processing travel and other expenses
- Conducting money laundering checks
- Responding to enquiries from fee earners, staff members, and clients
- Managing petty cash administration and reconciliation
- Performing ad hoc financial reporting tasks
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 1 years worth of experience as a cashier within a legal environment
- Experience in a legal or financial environment is preferred, to be seriously considered
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive and proactive attitude
