Remote 30 hours Per Week Business Support Administrator Role – November start

This is a varied and rewarding role where your organisational skills will directly support the delivery of inclusive and impactful projects.

Your new role

As Business Support Officer, you’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of this national programme. You’ll provide high-quality administrative and business support to the central programme team and regional project teams. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for business support across the programme
  • Scheduling and supporting meetings, including minute-taking and coordination
  • Managing financial processes such as raising purchase orders and processing invoices
  • Tracking project progress and maintaining key documents
  • Supporting procurement activities in line with corporate standards
  • Collecting and reporting on monitoring and evaluation data
  • Assisting with project documentation and change control processes

What you'll need to succeed

Essential:
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience working in a busy office environment with a dispersed or remote team
  • Familiarity with project administration tools (e.g. Microsoft Project)
  • GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent functional skills)
Desirable:
  • Experience supporting externally funded projects
  • Knowledge of public sector procurement or financial systems
You’ll also need to be proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
