Part Time Accounts Assistant role, temporary to permanent. 20 hours per week.

A well‑established manufacturing business based in Shipley is seeking a motivated Part‑Time Accounts Assistant to join their team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for stability, flexibility, and a varied role within a fast‑paced environment.

Your new role
Working 20 hours per week across 4–5 days, you will support the finance team with a range of transactional duties, including:
  • Processing purchase ledger invoices and managing supplier queries
  • Handling sales ledger tasks, including raising invoices and allocating payments
  • Completing daily bank reconciliations and monitoring transactions
  • Providing general administrative support to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations
What you’ll need to succeed
  • Previous experience in an accounts support role, ideally within manufacturing or a similar fast‑paced sector
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident using accounting systems and Excel
  • A proactive, adaptable approach and the ability to manage your workload independently
