I’m currently partnering with a well-established business located in the heart of Belfast to recruit a Part-Qualified Accountant to join their dynamic and experienced finance team.

Your new role

As a key member of the finance team, the successful candidate will play an active role in a wide range of financial activities that drive strategic decision-making and enhance operational efficiency. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across the business through the following core responsibilities:

• Reconciling balance sheet control accounts, including accruals and prepayments

• Maintaining and continuously improving robust, sustainable financial controls and procedures

• Conducting cost reviews and identifying opportunities for savings and process optimisation

• Analysing profit margins and highlighting areas for performance improvement

• Preparing and reviewing weekly revenue and payroll forecasts to support planning and resource allocation

• Managing the Income Audit process to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness across financial reporting

What you'll need to succeed

This role is ideally suited to part-qualified accountants (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) who demonstrate strong awareness of internal controls and possess a solid foundation in accounting principles and procedures. The successful candidate will be an ambitious, confident, and professional individual with excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills—someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to contribute to a high-performing team.
