Your new role

As a Paralegal, you will be an integral part of the legal team, reporting to the Senior Legal & Regulatory Affairs Officer. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Providing transactional and documentation support for financial and commercial contracts, bond listing applications, non-disclosure agreements, and more.
  • Contributing to the development of legal and documentation processes and procedures.
  • Supporting gilt and bill auctions and tenders.
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts and other legal documents.
  • Conducting legal research and drafting advisory notes.
  • Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Managing compliance checks and maintaining the team’s know-how and precedent folders.

What you'll need to succeed

To excel in this role, you should have:
  • A higher education degree in Law or a related subject, or a qualification to practice law in England & Wales.
  • Excellent English language skills.
  • Strong legal technical, analytical, and research skills.
  • At least 2 years of experience in financial markets transactions or commercial contracts (preferred).
