Are you an experienced Paralegal looking for a rewarding role within local government? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our Housing Repairs Team, providing vital legal support to ensure efficient and compliant service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and support on housing repair matters, including disrepair claims and related tenancy issues.
- Draft and review legal documents, correspondence, and case files.
- Liaise with internal teams, external solicitors, and stakeholders to progress cases effectively.
- Assist in preparing cases for court hearings and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and council policies.
- Maintain accurate records and manage caseloads within agreed timescales.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience as a Paralegal, ideally within housing law or property-related matters.
- Strong understanding of housing legislation and disrepair claims.
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and work to deadlines.
- Proficiency in case management systems and Microsoft Office.
