Hays Belfast are currently working with a leading specialist façade contractor who are recruiting a Construction Planner.
Your new employer is based in County Antrim and has become an established brand within the facade industry and has over 30 years' trading experience at the highest level. Having built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, innovative building envelope systems across the UK and Ireland, this role will see you join an established Planning Team and contribute to the ongoing excellence and sustainability of the team as the company continues to grow and invest in its people, technology, and processes.

Your new role

Joining as Construction Planner, your role will be based in their Head Office in County Antrim. This plays a key role supporting the planning and delivery of complex façade projects. You will work closely with project teams to develop and manage construction programmes, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Occasional travel may be required to support site operations and client meetings.
You will be using P6 Primavera software, and will help coordinate and programme timelines across multiple projects from design and manufacturing phase, right through to project delivery and installation, mitigating any risks and delays, and working with multiple internal and external teams.

What you'll need to succeed

Previous experience in a similar role will be required, and you must be flexible about working in their County Antrim office and hold some of the following attributes:
  • Proven experience in a construction planning role, ideally within the façades or wider construction sector
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 planning software is essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
