Your new role

The company is seeking its first marketing hire—a pivotal role with the opportunity to shape and build the entire marketing function from the ground up. This person will take ownership of both strategy and execution across customer acquisition and engagement, working in close collaboration with the CEO, sales, and product teams to create a scalable growth engine. Initially part-time (three days per week), the role is hands-on and experiment-driven. It will involve developing systems and processes, running iterative campaigns, and delivering measurable impact. With proven traction and ambitions to scale, the position offers clear potential to evolve into a full-time leadership role—complete with team-building and strategic oversight. Ideal candidates will thrive in fast-paced startup environments, enjoy creating from a blank slate, and be highly motivated by results.

What you'll need to succeed

This marketer combines a collaborative mindset with commercial instincts, working seamlessly across sales and leadership teams to unlock growth opportunities. They're highly data-driven and thrive in fast-paced environments, making tough prioritisation calls while keeping their eyes on measurable outcomes. Their communication skills—both written and verbal—are strong, and they consistently produce content that resonates with target audiences.
  • The ideal candidate brings over five years of hands-on B2B marketing experience, with a clear track record of driving both customer acquisition and business growth.
  • They've previously played a pivotal role as an early marketing hire in startups or fast-growing environments, building the marketing function from scratch and scaling campaigns with impact.
  • Comfortable owning the full marketing stack—from high-level strategy to on-the-ground execution—they're fluent in both paid and organic growth levers including email, SEO, content, paid social, and partnerships.
  • Their practical toolkit includes proficiency in platforms such as HubSpot, Google Analytics, and LinkedIn Ads.
Bonus Expertise
  • Background in SaaS, compliance, or legal tech sectors
  • Understanding of employment tax status or contractor compliance (a plus, but not essential)
  • Experience building brand equity in tandem with performance marketing efforts
