What You’ll Be Doing
You will play a key role within the outsourcing team, delivering cloud‑based finance solutions and high‑quality management reporting.
Responsibilities include:
Client & Team Management
Contributing to the management of a diverse client portfolio
Supporting planning, mentoring and reviewing work of junior team members (depending on experience)
Management Reporting & Advisory
Producing management accounts, KPI analysis and forecasts
Interpreting financial information and discussing insights directly with clients
Advising on operational and strategic business decisions
Cloud Finance Systems & Projects
Designing and implementing Xero‑based finance systems and associated apps (e.g., Dext, Fathom)
Working on ad‑hoc projects and short‑term client engagements
Using automation and cloud technology to improve processes and drive efficiency
Innovation & Client Service
Contributing to the development of new solutions and service improvements
Ensuring consistently excellent client experience
What We’re Looking For
You will be someone who brings initiative, curiosity and strong problem‑solving skills.
Essential criteria include:
ACA / ACCA qualified or nearly qualified
Experience in a practice outsourcing, cloud accounting, or management accounts role
Strong understanding of Xero‑based financial systems, apps, workflows and controls
A proactive, positive and collaborative mindset
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines
