Hays are working with the Northern Ireland Assembly to recruit for a temporary Organisational Development & Learning Supervisor

Your new role

As an Organisational Development & Learning Supervisor your duties will be to:
  • Coordinate and schedule internal and external learning events, online workshops and e-learning modules;
  • Maintain accurate staff training records, including attendance, completion rates, and evaluation data;
  • Prepare learning materials, resources and documentation for internal and external trainers;
  • Monitor and update completions for mandatory eLearning courses across a range of virtual platforms;
  • Generate reports and dashboards to track learning outcomes and compliance;
  • Liaise with internal business areas and external providers to ensure timely delivery of training;
  • Manage the OD & L mailbox to respond to queries;
  • Ensure financial compliance in the procurement and payment of invoices; and
  • Assist in the evaluation and continuous improvement of learning programs.
  • Comply with the Assembly Commission’s Equal Opportunities and Dignity at Work policies and procedures.
  • You may also be required to carry out other duties that the Assembly Commission reasonably requires of you.

What you'll need to succeed

  • A primary degree, minimum 2.2 classification, in any subject. Applications will be considered from applicants with formal qualifications of an equivalent or higher standard to those stated, and at least two years’ experience of:
  • Working in an administrative or coordination role, ideally within a learning and development or HR setting;
  • Using effective verbal and written communication skills to accurately and clearly communicate with learners and stakeholders at all levels..
  • Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with key stakeholders, both within and outside of your organisation to deliver a quality service.
  • Effectively using Microsoft Office packages, to include MS Word, Outlook and Excel as well as learning systems (e.g., LMS, ITrent, SharePoint).to produce accurate and timely information and prepare OD&L documents.

At least four years’ experience in the areas outlined at points a) to d) above.
