Local Government – Lead the strategic development and implementation of organisational change initiatives that support whole-system transformation across local services. This role plays a key part in shaping workforce capabilities, embedding collaborative and community-focused ways of working, and strengthening leadership to deliver sustainable, resident-first services through the Neighbourhoods Programme and broader transformation efforts.

Your new role

  • Develop and deliver the Change Management & Engagement Plan, ensuring inclusive, transparent delivery.
  • Drive a culture shift from siloed service delivery, to proactive, integrated, preventative and community/partnership led models.
  • Build organisational capability for place-based working, digital fluency and adaptive leadership.
  • Follow all relevant laws, internal policies, and governance frameworks, including financial, contractual, employment, and digital security regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and secure records, ensuring responsible management of all assigned information.
  • Support the delivery of a high-quality, person-centred service that aligns with organisational standards, especially in areas such as data protection, equality, diversity, and health and safety.
  • Uphold and actively promote equality and inclusion in line with the Equality Act 2010 and organisational strategies.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by complying with health and safety legislation and internal procedures.
  • Meet the competency and performance standards expected for the role.
  • Handle confidential information in accordance with GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, ensuring it is not misused or disclosed inappropriately.
  • Take ownership of personal development by engaging in relevant training and learning opportunities.
