Your new role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in the integration of the Civica Income Management Solution with Oracle Fusion ERP and AR Lockbox. The successful candidate will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and efficient data management across multiple income data streams, including bank statements, housing rents, council tax, business rates, and Imperial 360.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead requirements gathering workshops with various stakeholders (supplier, architects, business SME , technical leads etc)
- Analyse business needs and processes to capture As Is and To Be business processes.
- Share regular updates and manage requirements using JIRA tickets
- Capture detailed requirements and specifications for blueprinting, solution design, implementation and functional testing for business units using the income management solution and financial accounting system.
- Act as liaison between the IT supplier and business stakeholders to ensure requirements and specifications are understood before development.
Integration Management:
- Lead the integration of Civica Income Management Solution with Oracle Fusion ERP and AR Lockbox.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements by understanding workflows, functions and processes.
- Coordinate with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely integration.
- Develop and maintain integration plans, schedules, and documentation.
- Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
- Analyse and map income data streams to Oracle Fusion ERP and AR Lockbox systems.
- Ensure that requirements are clearly communicated and understood by all parties involved.
Solution Design and Implementation:
- Develop knowledge on income management processes, modules, including knowledge finance modules.
- Work with technical teams to design integration solutions that meet business needs.
- Oversee the implementation of integration solutions, ensuring compliance with best practices and organizational standards.
- Conduct system testing and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability of integrated solutions.
Data Management and Reporting:
- Ensure accurate and efficient processing of income data streams, including bank statements, housing rents, council tax, business rates, and Imperial 360.
- Develop and generate reports to provide insights into income data and integration performance.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data integration issues, providing timely resolutions.
Stakeholder Communication and Training:
- Act as the primary point of contact for integration-related queries and issues.
- Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders on new processes and systems.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and management.
Qualifications and Skills:
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of ERP systems, specifically Oracle Fusion ERP.
- Experience with Civica Income Management Solution or similar financial management systems.
- Proficiency in data mapping, transformation, and integration tools.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Project Management Skills:
- Experience in managing integration projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects on time and within budget.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., BCS, CBAP) or related certifications.
- Experience working in the public sector or with council financial systems.
- Knowledge of banking and financial data integration, including bank statements, housing rents, council tax, and business rates.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with experience in ERP systems and data integration projects.
- Proven experience with Oracle Fusion ERP, Civica, and AR Lockbox is highly desirable.
