DA Operations Technician (Binder Technician) up to £35,000 Lloyd’s Broker city/hybrid 1 day a week in office

Your new job working as DA Operations Technician, will be working for an innovative and growing Independent Global Lloyd's Brokers who have been established for over 100 years. With offices based in the UK, USA and worldwide, your new Brokers pride themselves on understanding the importance of being client-focused and are growing in all areas. They have recently been named an employer of choice. Due to substantial growth within their Operations DUA / Binder team, a permanent position for a DA Operations Technician has arisen.

Your new role

Your new job working as a DA Operations Technician will be working within the Operations team as part of the Broker Technical Services division providing
a first-class service to all coverholders in all aspects of their insurance arrangements. Duties will include producing and renewing BAA, ensuring all are in line with procedures and guidelines, producing BAA endorsements where required, processing third party bordereaux via internal processing systems to the bureau and handling and resolving client queries in relation to BAA and Premium issues. Further duties will also include ensuring diary checks are maintained, maintaining statistical information, keeping electronic filing up to date, as well as assisting with ad hoc and adhering to agreed service levels and SLAs.

What you'll need to succeed

Your previous experience working as a Bordereaux Technician or a Technician handling Binding Authorities will contribute to your success. You will have good knowledge of FCA regulations and guidelines relating to both private and commercial customers and a willingness to continue to develop knowledge of products and related issues through formal and informal learning. You will also have attention to detail, an ability to apply your own judgment and experience when making decisions or giving advice to clients, highly developed communication skills, the ability to prioritise workload and manage time effectively, the ability to work supportively and jointly with colleagues and the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines when required. You will also have DA Slip Production knowledge.
