Location: Milton Keynes (4 days on site)

Our client, a UK-licensed business lending organisation, is establishing a new operational site in Milton Keynes. They are now seeking an experienced interim specialist to join the leadership team as Operations Manager – New Business. This is a key role, supporting the growth of a new site and shaping best-in-class operational processes for the lending journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full new-business lending workflow, ensuring efficient onboarding, KYC/AML checks, underwriting support and first-line QA.
- Drive continuous improvement across processes to enhance throughput, reduce friction and shorten the credit decision journey.
- Provide operational leadership across new-business teams, supporting service excellence and regulatory compliance.
- Utilise nCino or comparable workflow/credit systems to manage deal progression, maintain accurate records and support reporting.
About You
- Strong experience in business lending operations, particularly new-business and onboarding workflows.
- Proven track record in process optimisation and operational delivery in a regulated environment.
- Experience with nCino or similar lending/CRM workflow tools is beneficial.
- Able to operate effectively in an interim or contract capacity, providing stability and leadership during a period of organisational build-out.
