Requirement for an Operations Manager in Co. Armagh
Your new company
This ambitious and fast growing food manufacturer in Co. Armagh is entering an exciting new chapter following a series of major investments and expansion milestones. The company has recently undertaken a considerable transformation of its long established production site, creating new jobs and positioning the facility to become one of Europe’s largest operations of its kind. This is a company on a strong upward trajectory—one that combines deep‑rooted quality with a bold, forward looking growth strategy.
Your new role
In this pivotal position, you will take ownership of driving operational performance across a busy, fast moving manufacturing environment. Working closely with senior leadership, you will lead on strategic planning, process optimisation, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure the highest levels of efficiency and product quality. You will be responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day operations, managing cross‑functional teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards while fostering a culture of excellence throughout the organisation. This is a hands‑on leadership role where your decisions and expertise will directly contribute to the future success of the business.
What you'll need to succeed
You will bring substantial experience in a senior operational, production, or manufacturing leadership role, gained within the food sector or another fast‑paced FMCG environment. A strong understanding of process improvement, performance management, and people leadership will be essential, along with the ability to influence and engage at all levels. You should demonstrate excellent problem‑solving skills, a commitment to quality, and the ability to drive change through a collaborative and structured approach. Strong commercial awareness and the confidence to contribute to strategic decision‑making will also be key to your success.
What you'll get in return
You will be rewarded with a highly competitive salary along with a strong benefits package, including pension and a 10% performance related bonus. You will join a progressive and ambitious organisation offering long-term stability, autonomy, and significant scope to put your own stamp on the role. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career within a business where your expertise will be valued and your contribution recognised.
