Office & Operations Manager
Salary: £35,000 – £38,000
Location: Shoeburyness
Hours: Full-time, office-based
Industry: Manufacturing & Distribution

A well‑established manufacturing business based in Shoeburyness is looking for a confident and hands-on Office & Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations within their distribution centre and office environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and being at the heart of a growing business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organising and supervising a team of 8–10 staff within the distribution centre
  • Overseeing inventory control, order processing, and invoicing
  • Optimising internal workflows and logistics processes to improve efficiency
  • Providing operational support for Ecommerce activities
  • Ensuring excellent customer service across all channels
  • Preparing financial, operational, and performance reports for senior management
  • Managing general office operations, ensuring smooth daily running of the business
  • Report to MD based in Spain weekly
Requirements:
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Confident managing workloads and leading small teams
  • Experience using SAGE
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks and work proactively & autonomously
  • No formal qualifications required
