Your new role

• Manage an annual budget focused on 75% new business and 25% existing accounts.
• Identify, engage, and convert potential customers into long-term partners.
• Promote the organisation’s fast-paced, high-quality manufacturing capabilities.
• Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to meet volume and contribution targets.
• Produce accurate monthly forecasts and maximise growth opportunities.
• Attend trade shows and networking events to build relationships and attract new business.
• Support the Head of Sales on cross-functional projects.
• Execute sales activities that enhance customer relationships and drive new business.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in a Business Development or Account Manager role within contract manufacturing

• Proven track record in attracting and converting profitable new business.
• Experience with dry powder products is preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Deep understanding of the end-to-end sales process.
• Project management experience with a focus on successful outcomes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
• Organised, detail-oriented, and commercially minded.
• Professional, collaborative, and solutions-focused with a hands-on, can-do attitude.

What you'll get in return

The salary for this role is £60,000, including a 10% bonus based on performance. You must be located in the Staffordshire area and be willing to visit clients across the UK. Fuel expenses are covered.
