Coventry City Council are seeking an Occupational Therapist, Full-Time 37hrs, paying from £30 ph

Your new company

Coventry City Council are looking to recruit an Occupational Therapist to work within their LD/ASD team.

Your new role

You will be supporting citizens who have a learning disability / Autism, undertaking therapy assessments and support planning. Promoting independence and supporting people to maximise their independence through advice, information, rehabilitation, practice of tasks and provision of aids and adaptations.
You will need to have well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with possible experience of using picture communication tools. Good record keeping and assessment writing along with an understanding of adult social care and health legislation e.g. Care Act 2014, Manual handling regulations 1992, Health and Safety at Work Act 1947.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful, you will require an Occupational Therapist qualification, and it is also essential that you have a current professional registration HCPC. Experience working with citizens with Autism and Learning Disability is essential. You are required to be a car driver for the role.
