Nursery Room Teaching Job Part-Time – April Start Term-time Only

Are you passionate about preparing children for Reception and confident in delivering early phonics and curriculum-based learning?

We are looking for a dedicated Nursery Room Teacher to join our 3–4 year-old group starting in April. This part-time role (8am–1:30pm, term time only) offers a salary range of £17,000–£20,000.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging sessions aligned with the Reception curriculum
  • Introduce and support early phonics and literacy development
  • Create a vibrant and purposeful learning environment
  • Contribute to planning and assessment

Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification (Level 6 or QTS preferred)
  • Strong understanding of EYFS and Reception-level expectations
  • Experience supporting children’s transition into formal schooling

Optional SENDCo Responsibility: This role can include SENDCo duties for an additional £1,000 salary uplift. Responsibilities include termly staff meetings, strategy support, parent liaison, training delivery, paperwork oversight, and EHCP contributions.
