Room Leader – Nursery (Full-Time, Maternity Cover)

Location: Sunderland
Contract: Full-Time, Maternity Cover
Pay: Paid via Hays Education
Qualification: Level 3 Early Years (Essential)

Join Our Nursery Team in Sunderland! We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Room Leader to lead our baby room or 2’s provision. This is a full-time maternity cover role, perfect for someone who loves creating a safe, stimulating environment for young children.

What You’ll Do:

Lead and inspire a team in the baby room or 2’s provision.
Plan and deliver engaging activities following the EYFS framework.
Ensure high standards of care, safety, and learning.
Build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff.

What We’re Looking For:

Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential).
Experience working in a nursery setting, ideally with babies or 2-year-olds.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Commitment to safeguarding and child development.
