Nursery Practitioners Needed in Sefton to Support with Ad-Hoc and Long Term Vacancies

Your new company

Hays are looking for experienced nursery practitioners to join the dedicated team of agency staff. We are supporting nurseries in the Sefton area with both ad-hoc cover for sicknesses and annual leave, as well as longer-term vacancies supporting them consistently.

Hays can offer you flexible work around your schedule, whether you are looking for part or full-time work.

Your new role

As a nursery practitioner, you will have a number of responsibilities, including:
  1. Childcare: Ensuring the safety and welfare of children by supervising them during indoor and outdoor activities, and making sure they are clean, fed, and rested.
  2. Education: Developing and delivering educational modules and creative activities that stimulate children’s interests and aid their early learning.
  3. Parental Communication: Regularly updating parents about their child’s progress and addressing any concerns.
  4. Administration: Maintaining detailed records of each child’s development and managing nursery supplies.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be passionate about working with young children with experience in a nursery setting or similar. You must be proactive, able to use your initiative and an excellent communicator.

You will ideally hold your childcare qualification, although this is not essential.

What you'll get in return

If you are successful with your application, you will receive the full support, dedication, and guidance of a DfE accredited consultant as well as a wide range of benefits, which include:
  • Free training
  • Upfront cost of DBS accounted for
  • Access to exclusive vacancies
  • Refer a Friend scheme
  • Ongoing support
  • Highly competitive daily rate
  • Weekly pay
  • Full holiday entitlement
  • Access to permanent vacancies
