Hays Education are working with a number of nurseries in Wallasey who are seeking reliable and enthusiastic bank staff to support their teams. This is a great opportunity to work flexibly while making a real difference in the lives of young children.

We offer both short and long-term roles, helping you build your experience and professional network across the Wirral.

Your new role

You will be supporting children aged 0–5 in their daily routines, learning activities, and play. You’ll help create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment, working closely with nursery staff to meet the individual needs of each child.

You’ll need to be confident in engaging children through play, supporting their development, and maintaining a high standard of care and safeguarding.

What you'll need to succeed

Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
A warm, caring and enthusiastic approach
Knowledge of the EYFS framework
DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
