Nursery Manager – Level 3 Qualified

Location: Islington, North London

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Contract: Full-time, Permanent Start Date: ASAP

Are you a passionate and experienced early years professional ready to take the next step in your career? A well-established nursery in Islington is seeking a dedicated Nursery Manager to lead their team and provide outstanding care and education for children aged 0–5.

The Role:

As Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the setting, ensuring high standards of care, education, and compliance. You’ll lead a team of practitioners, support staff development, and work closely with parents and external agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the smooth running of the nursery in line with EYFS and Ofsted requirements
Lead, motivate, and support the staff team
Ensure a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for all children
Manage budgets, staffing, and nursery policies
Build strong relationships with parents and carers

What You'll Need to Succeed:

Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or above)
Previous experience in a senior role within a nursery setting
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Sound knowledge of safeguarding, EYFS, and Ofsted standards
A warm, approachable, and professional manner
