Your new role
As Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the nursery, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children aged 0–5. You’ll work closely with staff, parents, and external agencies to deliver outstanding outcomes and maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a team of early years practitioners
- Oversee daily operations, including staffing, planning, and health & safety
- Ensure the nursery meets all Ofsted and EYFS standards
- Build strong relationships with families and the local community
- Manage budgets, resources, and administrative tasks efficiently
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (Level 5 or above desirable)
- Proven experience in a nursery leadership role
- Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and child development
- Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
- A warm, enthusiastic, and professional approach
