Job Title – Assistant Nursery Manager
Location – Heathfield
Hours – Full Time, 40 hours Monday to Friday
Job Type – 12 month Maternity cover
Pay – Up to £17.75 per hour (dependent on experience)

Your new role
You will work alongside the Nursery Manager for three days each week, and take full responsibility for the setting on two days (Monday and Friday). The role involves supporting the overall management, planning, and development of the nursery under the guidance of the Operations Manager and Nursery Manager.

What you'll need to succeed
We are seeking someone who can:
- Lead, motivate, and support a staff team
- Communicate confidently and professionally at all levels
- Contribute to a positive, nurturing, and high‑quality childcare environment
The ideal candidate may currently be:
- A strong Room Leader with experience running a nursery independently.
- A Third in Charge
- A Deputy Manager looking for progression
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification
- At least 5 years post‑qualification experience
- Minimum Grade 4 in Maths and English
