Part-time (3 days) long term Numeracy & Literacy support (KS3)

A thriving and well‑established secondary school is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic practitioner to support the development of literacy and numeracy skills for Year 7 students. This long‑term supply role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on learners who are building the foundations of their secondary education.

The role:

  • Working closely with Year 7 students to strengthen core literacy and numeracy skills
  • Delivering targeted support on a one‑to‑one and small‑group basis
  • Helping students grow in confidence and develop the functional skills that underpin their wider learning
  • Collaborating with teaching staff to ensure interventions are purposeful, engaging, and tailored to individual needs
Who we are looking for:

Applications are welcomed from candidates who can demonstrate consistent experience within a school environment, including:
  • Year 6 Primary practitioners
  • Secondary school Teachers
  • HLTAs
  • TAs with a strong focus on literacy and numeracy support
A passion for helping young learners progress, coupled with patience, resilience, and strong communication skills, will be key to success in this role.
