General corporate role in Newcastle for lawyers with anywhere up to 3 years of post-qualification experience.

A leading legal practice in the North East of England has an opportunity for qualified corporate solicitors with anywhere up to 3 years of post-qualification corporate experience.

Candidates of particular interest to my client will be those with experience working on general mergers and acquisitions, due diligence and disclosure, investments, shareholder agreements, reorganisations, private equity/venture capital transactions and listed company transactions (this does not represent an exhaustive list of experience required for this role).

Along with previous experience in as many of the above-mentioned areas as possible, the successful candidate will be someone with a real passion for transactional corporate work and with a positive attitude towards hard work and further development. With the support of a team that is consistently ranked in the top bandings in both the Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners, this is a firm that has its finger on the pulse when it comes to supporting the upskilling of all employees across all practice areas, and a firm which is rapidly gaining a reputation as a leader in multiple fields of legal practice.

If you’re a corporate solicitor based in the North East of England who might be thinking of a change in environment, or to work with an inclusive and supportive team, then this is certainly an opportunity you should consider.
