Your new role
As an Ad‑Hoc and Supply Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting pupils with their learning, behaviour and emotional development. Your responsibilities may include working 1:1 with students, supporting small groups, or assisting the class teacher with general classroom duties. No two days will be the same—this role is perfect if you enjoy variety, flexibility, and the chance to gain experience in different school settings. You can choose when and where you work, making it ideal for those seeking a balanced, rewarding role.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience supporting children in an educational or care setting (school-based not essential)
• A patient, nurturing and proactive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility and willingness to work across multiple schools
• An understanding of safeguarding and a commitment to pupil wellbeing
• Eligibility to work in the UK and completion of required checks
