A contract opening for a Network Tester with layer 2 / 3 and SDWAN experience

Network Test Engineer: Layer 2 / Layer 3
Location: Fully remote
Duration: Initial 12-week initial contract (12 months+ envisaged)
Rate: £435 per day, in scope, umbrella
IR35: In scope

A highly technical, experienced hands-on resource required with experience of managing, coordinating, facilitating & executing test plans, defect management and status reporting; primarily for Layer 2 & Layer 3 work.

Role Specifics
  • Layer 2 and Layer 3 Test experience
  • Test Strategy | Planning | Estimation | Execution
  • Layer 3 network experience, Cisco
  • Manual test + automation of Layer 2 and Layer 3.

    Flexible resource to move between Layer 2 and Layer 3 projects on technical knowledge & experience of Layer 2 Metro Ethernet networks, Layer 3, preferably Cisco Kit.
    1. Layer 2 only switches on Cisco and Layer 3 it’s all Cisco/ Juniper/ Nokia routers + all routing protocols going into layer 3.
