Neighbourhood Officer - Liverpool

We're seeking an experienced and pro-active Neighbourhood Housing Officer in Liverpool on an ongoing temporary basis for a minimum of 3 months. This is an agile role, with frequent time spent on patch across North Liverpool, whilst there's no fixed office/home working split, you must be able to attend meetings and training in Liverpool City Centre when required.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage low level ASB (including dog-related issues) and support community safety cases such as cuckooing with the Safer Neighbourhoods Team

  • Lead on tenancy management, including breaches, safeguarding, arrears visits, and estate/communal inspections

  • Let homes efficiently to reduce rent loss and provide responsive customer service, including face to face visits

  • Maintain strong visibility in neighbourhoods, gather resident feedback and support neighbourhood sustainability

  • Contribute to neighbourhood plans, deliver neighbourhood management activity and support environmental standards

  • Build effective partnerships with local agencies and manage service charges, budgets, renewals and resident consultations

What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong experience in tenancy management including ASB within a social housing environment

  • Confidence working in the community, including lone working and on your own initiative

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Flexible and adaptable approach, happy to follow a no fixed office or WFH pattern

  • Driving licence with access to your own vehicle and valid business insurance
