Neighbourhood Officer (Social Housing) - Liverpool - Min 3 month temp
We're looking to recruit a Neighbourhood Housing Officer in Liverpool paying up to £21 per hour for a minimum of 3 months
Key responsibilities include:
Responsible for delivering all aspects of housing and tenancy management across your designated patch including mutual exchanges, abandonments, assignments, unauthorised occupation including subletting and tenancy fraud
Carry out a range of visits including viewings, audits, new tenancy reviews, inspections and attending evictions
Managing your own caseload of Anti Social Behaviour and other tenancy breaches within your area including safeguarding
Supporting customers at risk of tenancy failure through arrears by completing assessment of needs and implementing positive actions & signposting to external services as appropriate
Preparing and serving notices of eviction
Responding to general enquiries or complaints from customers, stakeholders and local MPs
What you'll need to succeed
Strong background in a housing/tenancy management role, ideally within social housing and a good understanding of housing legislation and best practice
An understanding and experience of managing anti-social behaviour and tenancy breach cases
Good understanding of welfare reform and the ability to support customers with benefit queries/applications to maximise income
Driving licence with access to own vehicle and valid business insurance
