Neighbourhood Officer (Social Housing) - Liverpool - Ongoing temp - Competitive hourly rates
We are seeking an experienced Neighbourhood Officer in Liverpool to support our social housing client on a temporary contract for a minimum of 3 months, paying up to £22.50 per hour with hybrid working.
Key responsibilities:
Delivering a range of housing and tenancy management services across your patch, acting as a key contact for customers within the community
Undertake a range of visits including viewings, tenancy audits, exchange inspections, tenancy reviews, new starter visits and attending evictions
Dealing with abandonments, relationship breakdowns, assignments, unauthorised occupations including subletting, tenancy fraud and failures to allow access
Manage your own caseload of low to medium level ASB, hate crime, safeguarding and other tenancy breaches including carrying out investigations, gathering evidence and witness statements
Identifying customers at risk of tenancy failure, undertaking assessments of needs and implementing positive interventions or signposting to external agencies to support the sustainment of tenancies
Responding to general enquiries or complaints from customers and local MPs
Discharging all legal, regulatory and insurance duties within your portfolio
What you'll need to succeed
Experience of managing stock, delivering housing and tenancy management services including managing nuisance & ASB
Good knowledge of housing legislation and best practice
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage professional relationships with tenants including challenging non-compliance
Driving licence with access to own vehicle and valid business insurance
