About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Neighbourhood Officer to join our team at a reputable housing association. This role involves managing a patch of properties in the Leyland and Chorley areas, ensuring high standards of service and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Property Management: Oversee the maintenance and management of a designated patch of properties.
  • Tenant Support: Provide support and assistance to tenants, addressing their concerns and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Community Engagement: Foster a positive community environment through regular interaction and engagement with residents.
  • Compliance: Ensure all properties comply with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records and provide regular reports on property and tenant issues.

Requirements:
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within housing or property management.
  • Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of housing regulations and community engagement practices.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid working environment.
