Neighbourhood Officer - Temporary Contract - Cheshire region
We're looking to recruit an experienced Neighbourhood Officer on behalf of a social housing association in the Cheshire region for up to 3 months on a temporary contract.
Key responsibilities:
Deliver a range of housing, tenancy and estate management services across your designated patch
Carry out property inspections, manage voids and lettings
Assist with sign-ups, viewings, starter reviews and tenancy audits
Manage caseloads of various ASB and tenancy breaches including hate crime, domestic violence and harassment
Investigate cases, gather evidence and prepare legal documentation including witness statements
Prepare and serve notices
Support customers in arrears or at risk of tenancy failure by offering tenancy sustainment advice, signposting and referring to external services where appropriate
What you'll need to succeed
Experience in a housing and tenancy management role, within a social housing setting
Experience of managing own caseloads of ASB and tenancy breaches
A good knowledge of housing legislation and best practice
Driving licence with access to own vehicle with valid business insurance
