Neighbourhood Officer - Temporary Contract - Cheshire region

We're looking to recruit an experienced Neighbourhood Officer on behalf of a social housing association in the Cheshire region for up to 3 months on a temporary contract.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver a range of housing, tenancy and estate management services across your designated patch

  • Carry out property inspections, manage voids and lettings

  • Assist with sign-ups, viewings, starter reviews and tenancy audits

  • Manage caseloads of various ASB and tenancy breaches including hate crime, domestic violence and harassment

  • Investigate cases, gather evidence and prepare legal documentation including witness statements

  • Prepare and serve notices

  • Support customers in arrears or at risk of tenancy failure by offering tenancy sustainment advice, signposting and referring to external services where appropriate

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in a housing and tenancy management role, within a social housing setting

  • Experience of managing own caseloads of ASB and tenancy breaches

  • A good knowledge of housing legislation and best practice

  • Driving licence with access to own vehicle with valid business insurance
