Hays Education are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Rochdale to recruit an enthusiastic and talented Music Teacher for a September 2026 start. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive school with an outstanding senior leadership team and a strong commitment to the arts.
The school is seeking a passionate educator who can inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and creative lessons that develop musical skills, confidence and performance abilities.


Your new role

  • Teach Music across KS3 and KS4.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons.
  • Encourage participation in musical performances, clubs and extracurricular activities.
  • Monitor progress and support students in achieving their full potential.
  • Contribute positively to the wider school community.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Music in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Passion for music education and student achievement.
  • Ability to motivate and engage learners of all abilities.
