TEMPORARY MUSIC TEACHER — OPPORTUNITY IN COVENTRY

ABOUT THE SCHOOL
We are a well‑established, forward‑looking secondary school located in central Coventry. Our ethos places creativity at the core of our curriculum, and we are seeking a Music Teacher who can support this vision during a temporary period of staffing need.

THE ROLE – KEY FOCUS AREAS
1. High‑Quality Classroom Delivery
You will teach Music across Key Stages 3 and 4, providing well‑structured lessons that engage and challenge learners of all abilities.

2. Contribution to Department Continuity
Although the post is temporary, you will play an important role in maintaining curriculum consistency, offering fresh input and supporting the ongoing development of the department.

3. Professionalism and Passion for Music
We welcome teachers from varied musical backgrounds—traditional, contemporary, digital or blended—who are committed to high standards and positive student outcomes.

ROLE DETAILS
  • Position: Temporary Music Teacher
  • Location: Coventry (central, easily accessible)
  • Start Date: As soon as available
  • Contract: Fixed-term / temporary
  • Hours: Full-time preferred
  • Remuneration: Competitive, reflective of experience and qualifications

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS desirable; strong ECTs encouraged to apply)
  • Confident teaching Music at KS3 and KS4
  • Competent in both practical and digital music-making
  • Organised, calm under pressure and committed to safeguarding and student progress
  • Able to join a collaborative team and make an immediate, positive impact
