Your new role
Starting in September, you’ll take on a supply teaching role within the Music department, delivering engaging lessons that develop students’ musical skills, appreciation, and performance confidence.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Teaching Music across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially KS5 depending on experience).
- Delivering pre-prepared lessons and adapting content to suit different learners.
- Encouraging creativity through performance, composition, and listening activities.
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively and creating a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Supporting extracurricular activities such as school concerts, choirs, or music clubs.

What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Music in a secondary school setting (including during training).
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A friendly, engaging, and encouraging teaching style.
