Music Teacher - Middlesbrough - January 2025 until July 2025 (Part-Time Available)

Local Secondary School
Position: Supply Music Teacher (Key Stage 3 and 4)
Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time (3 days a week considered)

A local secondary school, who are dedicated to nurturing creativity and fostering a love for learning. They are currently seeking a passionate and talented Supply Music Teacher to inspire our students and contribute to their musical education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and dynamic Music lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and 4.
  • Follow the school’s curriculum and lesson plans, ensuring continuity of learning.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
  • Collaborate with permanent teaching staff to ensure a seamless educational experience for students.
  • Participate in school activities and events as required.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Music or a related field.
  • Experience teaching Music at Key Stage 3 and 4 levels.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to different teaching environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and reliability to cover classes on short notice.
