Your new role
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks in line with contractual requirements. Maintain plant and equipment in accordance with O&M manuals, industry best practices, and relevant legislation. Supervise subcontractors and ensure compliance with Safe Systems of Work (SSOW), policies, and procedures. Respond to reactive maintenance requests within agreed timeframes, completing all necessary documentation. Always Work safely and professionally, adhering to company policies and procedures. Operate effectively both independently and as part of a team. Maintain a clean, safe, and secure environment in plant rooms and service enclosures. Perform ad-hoc duties as required during your shift.
What you'll need to succeed
Completion of a recognised engineering apprenticeship. City & Guilds, BTEC, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification. Minimum of 3 years post-apprenticeship experience, ideally within a healthcare environment. Proven experience in mechanical and/or multi-disciplinary maintenance, including DHW, LTHW, and ventilation systems. Electrical qualifications such as 18th Edition or City & Guilds 2391. Willingness to develop skills in other areas of building services.
Shift Pattern: 2 x 12-hour day shifts, 2 x 12-hour night shifts, followed by 4 days off , Additional Info: DBS check required prior to start | Shift allowance included
