Multiskilled Joiner | Social Housing | Lancashire & Cumbria | from £22 per hour umbrella

Your new company

We are looking for experienced multi-skilled joiners to join us on a range of social housing projects across the autumn and winter months. This is a great opportunity to secure consistent work through the colder seasons, working on meaningful refurbishment and maintenance schemes.

Your new role

You will be responsible for carrying out a variety of joinery tasks, including kitchen and bathroom fitting, door hanging, and general second fix work. The ideal candidates will have experience working in tenanted or void properties and be confident in delivering high-quality expertise with minimal supervision.

What you'll need to succeed

You’ll be working on behalf of local authorities and housing associations, so experience in social housing environments is desirable. You must be confident working independently and delivering high standards of expertise while maintaining a professional and respectful approach towards tenants.

  • Proven experience as a multiskilled joiner
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in joinery (preferred but not essential)
  • Own tools and transport
  • Valid CSCS card (desirable)
  • Ability to work across multiple trades

What you'll get in return

This role is paid through an umbrella pay scheme, with rates between £22 and £23.50 per hour depending on experience and scope of work. Start dates are available in the coming months, with opportunities across multiple sites.

  • Paid via umbrella pay scheme
  • Rates between £22.00 and £23.50 per hour depending on experience
  • Weekly pay
  • Long-term opportunities available
