Your new role

As a Multi‑Trade Operative, you’ll carry out a variety of maintenance and repair tasks across occupied and void social housing properties. Typical duties may include carpentry, plumbing, basic plastering, painting, tiling, and general property repairs. This is a temporary contract offering up to £25.00 per hour, working independently across the Worcestershire area. You’ll be expected to manage your own workload, attend scheduled appointments, and ensure all work is completed to a high standard.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience as a multi‑trade or maintenance operative, ideally within social housing
  • Strong skills in at least one core trade, with the ability to carry out additional minor works across others
  • Own van and tools
  • NVQs or City & Guilds qualifications in a relevant trade (beneficial but not essential)
  • A professional approach, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently
  • A full UK driving licence
