An established organisation in the student accommodation sector is seeking a Multi-Skilled Technician to join their maintenance team. This is a permanent opportunity offering a competitive salary and a supportive working environment.


Your new role

As a Multi-Skilled Technician, you will be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive maintenance services, with a focus on building fabric repairs. You will ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with health and safety regulations, contributing to the overall upkeep and compliance of the residential estate.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Responding to reactive maintenance requests in line with service level agreements
  • Conducting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and liaising with subcontractors
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and statutory compliance
  • Performing statutory testing (e.g. PAT, fire alarms, fire doors)
  • Reporting health and safety concerns and ensuring safe working practices
  • Participating in an out-of-hours on-call rota


What you'll need to succeed

You will have experience in a similar role within a residential or facilities management environment, with strong communication and organisational skills. A solid understanding of building services, safe working practices, and health and safety regulations is essential.

Flexibility to work additional hours during peak periods (e.g. student arrivals/departures) is required. Employment is subject to satisfactory references and may include a basic DBS check.
