I’m currently partnering with a leading facilities management provider to recruit a Multi-Skilled Plumber for a high-profile contract based for a local council.
This is a great opportunity to join a well-established team delivering critical maintenance services across a prestigious portfolio in one of London’s most desirable areas.

Your new role

As a Multi-Skilled Plumber, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality maintenance services across a variety of building systems. You’ll be responsible for both reactive and planned works, ensuring client expectations are consistently exceeded.

  • Carry out reactive and planned plumbing maintenance
  • Work independently and as part of a wider maintenance team
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues, sourcing parts where required
  • Liaise with the control hub to ensure efficient job delivery
  • Provide detailed reports and updates on completed work
  • Ensure all works are completed within agreed timeframes and to high standards
  • Maintain exceptional health & safety standards at all times
  • Deliver excellent customer service when dealing with clients on-site
  • Use handheld devices (PDA/mobile) to manage tasks and documentation
  • Participate in out-of-hours call-out rota and shift patterns


What you'll need to succeed

  • Recognised plumbing qualification
  • Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience
  • Experience in maintenance across building services (mechanical, plumbing, etc.)
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Ability to attend site within 1 hour for emergency call-outs
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Desirable:
  • Multi-skilled experience across building services
  • Health & Safety certifications
  • MEWP licence
  • Knowledge of BEMS systems
  • Confined space / manual handling training
  • OFTEC certification
