Multi Skilled Plumber required for a social housing contractor.

Our Repairs and Maintenance teams play a vital role in delivering our vision of providing great homes and great service. We ensure our homes are safe, warm, dry, and fully functional—places where residents are proud to live.We are now seeking a skilled and customer-focused Multi-Skilled Plumber to join our team, working across sites in Blackburn, Bolton, Lancaster and the surrounding areas.
Your new role
- Deliver high-quality, responsive repairs across our properties
- Use your core plumbing skills to diagnose and resolve issues
- Carry out multi-skilled work to achieve a first-time fix wherever possible
- Work independently, managing your own workload effectively
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional approach
- Take part in an out-of-hours callout rota (additional payment provided)
What you'll need to succeed
You must live within a reasonable distance of Blackburn to respond to jobs efficiently.A full UK driving licence is required. A basic DBS check will be needed, which will be paid for.
Essential Skills & Experience
- NVQ Level 3 (City & Guilds) Trade Qualification, or equivalent recognised competency in the plumbing trade
- Strong competence in basic plumbing, damp and mould works
- Multi-trade capability that enables completion of most repairs on first visit
- Experience working in a customer-focused environment
- Ability to follow procedures and accurately record information
- Good organisation and time‑management skills
- Confident decision-making and problem-solving ability
- Ability to undertake physical tasks in line with Health & Safety guidelines
- Awareness of environmental risks and commitment to safe working practices
- Strong alignment with organisational values and behaviours
- Experience working within the social housing sector
